Why understanding the context of change – the technologies that drive it and the ecosystems that support it are important, examining specific innovations aimed at solving big problems is also important. Framed in the UN Sustainability Goals, social innovation applies the tools of business to drive social and economic development, equality, environmental responsibility and more. Not only do we need to examine the big picture of how social change happens and the roles individuals play in leading change, we are also need to examine specific initiatives and their impacts.
